  Purchased a 2m USB phone charger cable 2 months ago and although still working the end got frayed where you stick it into the phone so went in to have it exchanged. Apple has them in the past exchanged the charger cord Not this time. The ‘genius’ told me it has physical damage which is not covered, no kidding. I told him defective materials as it should have this much damage after 2months it’s not like I am jumping rope with it. For $30- I would think I would have a cord that lasts longer than the $5- charger cables you buy at a gas station. Also it is not my first cord I have several others that have held up for years. Sorry to see Apple getting so petty especially when they charge a pretty premium for their products.
